INVESTING IN THE FUTURE

Planting season has past and harvest is around the corner, but I want to take a minute and talk about the importance of planting seeds. You might think I am talking about planting an actual seed in the ground and taking care of it until it flourishes. I am speaking figuratively though. By “planting seeds” you are investing in the future. As you look ahead and think about the future of your children and grandchildren, shouldn’t you think about the future of our agriculture industry. SunSouth believes in investing in the leaders of tomorrow. That is why we invest in our local communities. The children of our local communities could be the future face of the agriculture industry. Therefore, SunSouth is proud to help sponsor local events like the annual “Touch-A-Tractor” and Auburn University’s Ag Roundup. At events like these, we are able to expose children to agriculture and hopefully peak their interests by sitting in a tractor. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for more details about events happening in your area.
Check out these two bright faces of the future of agriculture. Kyle and Walt Harrell are the sons of Kyle and Ann Louise Harrell. Kyle and Walt's grandparents, Mr. And Mrs. Richard Harrell of Hayneville Al, are the owners of Harrell and Sons Farms.
